About the event
Sunday afternoon, March 5, we are asking community members to come out at 1:00pm and help with the town's spring cleaning efforts. There will be a job for everyone. A few of the cleanup items already noted are removing the spent flowers in the town planters, trimming limbs and bushes around the welcome signs, picking up sticks and debris at the park, cleaning the concession stand to get it ready for the return of Sturgis Little League this spring, and cleaning the signs at the town cemeteries.
There will also be pulled pork sandwiches available for anyone in the community to come out and enjoy. Sandwiches will be free of charge, but donations will be accepted. Money donated will go back towards the beautification of our town.
